I just spray painted a shirt (on purpose) and i was wondering if i wash it will the colors/paint come out?

Is there a specific way to wash it as well? i spray painted a regular long sleeved shirt from gildan.

I have a “painting wardrobe” that I wear when I paint the house. The clothes are just covered with splatter. I wash the clothes in any temperature that’s convenient, including hot. I also machine dry them. The splatter has never budged an inch.

However…now we’re talking “Murphy’s Law”. The probability of paint coming off of clothes in is direct proportion to how much you want it to stay on.

So…I would machine wash gentle on the cold setting, and hang the shirt to air dry. This should preserve the paint.
