can you use a black light to cure acrylic nails?
me and my mom want to start doing acrylic nails, but we cant affored a uv light. can we replace it with a black light?
&& can what can u replace for the acrylic sealer if you dont need a uv light?
No. And you don’t need a UV light for acrylic nails – only for gel, unless the product specifies UV. Some gels cure with a halogen light – but that’s specific to whatever product that is.
UV lights sell at Sally Beauty Supply for about $70. But the acrylic kits available to the public, like Kiss Acrylic kits at the grocery store are inexpensive and they air cure.
