Is designer merchandise a lot cheaper in the Caribbean?
I’m going on a cruise to Jamaica, and I’ve heard there are duty free designer shops like Gucci. Are the prices really good? What does “duty-free” actually mean?
yes it is true that in the caribbean they have deisghner merchandise for cheaper in the us, but most of the time its probably fake. though it depends on the situation.
when my friend went on vacation there she came back with coach purses and said that she only payed about twenty dollars for them. so they are most likely fake but they looked real to me! [[ and i am very good at telling the difference between real and a knock off ]]
but in puerto rico they had the coach handbags (and other brands) for cheaper too, though not as cheap as twenty dollars!! probably only around fifty dollars less then here in the us but those are the real thing!
