He attended El Camino High School and American River College before transferring to Sacramento State to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Investing. Mr. Archer was quickly hired by Edward Jones Investments to open and buiild an office to serve the Arden Arcade community. Laura was raised in Arden Arcade, and is a 45 year resident of the community. She graduated from Encina High School in 1977, and U.C. Davis in 1982, with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Laura is married with two grown sons, and works as a Water Resource Engineer for the State of California.

Bob Stevens
Robert (Bob) Stevens has lived in the Arden Arcade community since 1975. He and his wife Lilly, along with their son, Patrick (13 years) and niece, Rachel (16 years), currently reside in the Mission Oaks neighborhood.

Bob spent 31 years with the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department and retired in 2004 with the rank of lieutenant. His varied assignments included corrections, patrol, detectives, narcotics, special investigations, technical services and administration. His last five years were as the executive assistant to the Chief Deputy of Field Services (Patrol and Detectives). He currently works in the field of public safety radio communications.

Bob comes to the Arden Arcade Committee, with a wealth of knowledge regarding law enforcement. He firmly believes in the Sheriff’s Department commitment to the community and in the people that work there. He commends them on the outstanding job they do under the suburb leadership of Sheriff John McGinness. However, he also doubts the County Board of Supervisors will ever supply adequate funding and resources to properly administer and protect the Arden Arcade Community. He strongly supports the premise that once cityhood is obtained, Arden Arcade contract with the Sheriff’s Department and through that agreement make sure there are adequate numbers of officers assigned for patrol, investigations and traffic control.
